Cairo defeated by Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton

CHRISTOPHER -- In Friday's league game, the host Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats football team scored a big 49-0 win over the Cairo Pilots.

With the win, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bearcats host Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a Black Diamond game on Friday, October 7. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 6-0. Carmi-White County won 48-16 in their recent league game against Sesser-Valier (Sesser, IL).

With the loss, Cairo falls to 0-6 on the season. The Pilots travel to Eldorado (Eldorado, IL) to meet the Eagles in a Black Diamond game on Friday, October 7. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-6. Eldorado lost 49-0 in their recent league game against Carterville.
