Friday night the Cairo High School football team was defeated by Elverado with a score of 70-6.

On October 1, the Pilots have an away game against Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton. The Pilot's next, and last, home game is October 14th against Johnston City. Their final game of the season will be an away game on October 21 against Carterville.
