Sesser-Valier trounces Cairo

SESSER -- Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the visiting Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL), 58-12 in a league game.

With the win, Sesser-Valier improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, IL) to meet the Mules in a Black Diamond game on Friday, September 16. The Mules enter the game with a record of 3-0. Fairfield won 34-0 in their recent league game against Eldorado (Eldorado, IL)

The Pilots now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carmi-White County for a Black Diamond game on Friday, September 16. Cairo will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-7 league win over Hamilton County (Carmi, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
